Martin Farquharson has been shooting award-winning images for Architects/Interior Designers and the Resources, Industrial and Corporate sectors for more than 20 years.
He’s happy to have been a past WA Professional Photographer of the Year and also to have had images included in the Fuji Australian Photographers Collections 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Having served two terms as National Vice-President of the Society of Australian Commercial and Media Photographers (ACMP) and been Chairman of the WA Chapter, he’s still involved
in the organisation and is also active on the Professional Imaging list, a UK-based international forum of pro-photographers.
While very much enjoying the “craft” of photography, particularly the greater control and finesse that digital imaging has bought with it, he still occasionally likes to get one of his collection
of “old-fashioned” film cameras out of the cupboard!
He’s endeavouring to complete his collection of Eagle comics in the hope of finding a Dan Dare story he hasn’t read.
Debra Haylock is an Art and Design graduate who, despite graduating near the top of her class, managed to put off getting a real job by working backstage in and around
theatres for 4 years. Later, her seven years experience in a professional photographic laboratory gave her good training to take the role of Production Manager of Martin’s studio in 1994.
She handles all matters organizational along with client liaison, design and photoshop duties.
Her ambitions include visiting all of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s work in person and driving a Formula 1 car. This year, the Webber/Coulthard teaming at Red Bull Racing has
swayed her long-time allegiance from McLaren.
